Teen Dating
Teen dating can be a very exciting time in the life of every teen. We believe that a teen would be better served waiting until they are 16 years old to date. The immature teen that is not prepared to date may get into a situation they are unable to handle. There are a lot of sites available online that will provide advice and information on teen dating. We also believe that it is best for teens to group date rather than go one on one until they are older. The reason for this is that a teen is less likely to get pregnant if they are in a group of other teens. Teen pregnancy is a problem that costs the United States billions of dollars every year to deal with. The financial burden is secondary to the problems teen pregnancy will create for the teens and their families.
Teen Dating Ideas
There are a multitude of sites online that can provide a list of fun things to do on a date. Teen dating is a great time to determine what kind of a mate a teen will eventually want to settle down with. Some families have an ABC dating method. Basically what this says is the teen will need to go out with A date then B date then C date before they can go out with A date again. This forces the teen to keep from getting a serious steady during high school limiting their exposure to various types of people. Too many teens end up dating the same person through high school without every having the opportunity to experience different and new personalities and people.
Teen Dating Etiquette
Some people may say that it is old fashioned to show etiquette on a date. We believe that young men should respect young women and vice versa. There is nothing wrong with a teenage boy opening a door for a teenage girl. It is always important for the boy to come to the door to pick his date up rather than honking the horn in the driveway. The small signs of respect could be key indicators of how the boy will treat the girl later in life should they decide to marry. Manners and etiquette should be taught in the home, but there are many places on line that provide this type of education. Since few young people are taught etiquette in the home when a young person shows this type of respect to their date they will probably be impressed.
Teen Dating Summary
