Darrow School - New Lebanon, NY

This boarding school was founded in 1932 and can hold up to 102 boys and girls.

Darrow school is unique in the fact that they are credited with implementing a 'hands-on learning' when it comes to their teaching methods. Some extracurricular activities include theatre, skiing, music, outdoor education.

The boarding school is accredited through the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. More info here.

The Knox School - St. James, NY

This boarding school was established in 1904 and specializes in not only helping students but the whole family. They try to help each student leave with good core values such as respect, kindness and scholarship.

Knox School can hold up to 118 students and about %45 of faculty hold an advanced degree. The student to staff ratio is about 1:6.

Ross School - East Hampton, NY

This boarding school has been in operation since 1991 and offers a global curriculum with classes that offer many opportunities to grow and learn. The school can hold up to 500 boys and girls grades 7 - 12.

Some of the activities the school offers are baseball, basketball, softball, newspaper, yearbook, volleyball and much more. The school is accredited through the NAIS, NYAIS, TABS. The student to teacher ratio is low at 7 students to each teacher. More info here.
