Boarding School Grants - Financial Aid
Some boarding schools will provide grants for students who are doing good in school or play a sport like basketball or football. However, what if you have an at-risk teen who doesn't want to be at the school in the first place. Most troubled teen boarding schools will cost anywhere from $2,000 to $6,000 a month. This can be costly for most middle class Americans.

You need to keep in mind that there are not very many grants or financial aid for parents who want to send a troubled teen to a private residential boarding school. The reason being is the facilities are most likely ran by private businesses and not the government.
Some states like California sometimes will pay for a teen to enter a center designed to help them change their behavior. The teen will need to be referred from the state for the government to pay for the whole cost. Call your local city office building to ask about different options you have as a parent.
